Your refund rights, clearly stated.

Overview

This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for paid subscriptions to the JARALWork platform (the “Platform”), operated by JARAL Consultants (Pvt) Ltd., Karachi, Pakistan.

We want every paying member to feel that JARALWork earned the money you paid. If it doesn't, we'd rather refund you than keep you. The terms below apply alongside our Terms of Service.

14-day money-back guarantee

First paid month: if you upgrade from Free to Pro or Elite and decide within 14 calendar days of the upgrade that the Platform is not right for you, request a full refund of that first month's subscription fee. No questions asked.

The 14-day window starts the moment the upgrade payment is confirmed (Pakistan time). It applies once per account, per tier — for example, upgrading to Pro and refunding, then upgrading to Elite, gives you a fresh 14-day window for Elite.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Account → Plan → Cancel subscription on your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to your paid tier until that date.

Cancellation is different from a refund: cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current paid period. If you want a refund of the current period and you are within the 14-day window, request the refund instead (or in addition to) cancelling.

After cancellation, your account remains active on the Free tier — your data is preserved and you can re-subscribe at any time.

What is refundable

  • Subscription fees paid for Pro or Elite, within the 14-day money-back window described above.
  • Duplicate or accidental charges — any payment processed in error (double-billed, billed after cancellation, etc.) is fully refunded regardless of the 14-day window.
  • Service failure refunds — if a paid feature was materially unavailable for an extended period because of a fault on our side, we will consider a pro-rata refund for the affected period.

What is not refundable

  • Subscription periods past the 14-day window are generally not refundable. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months once the window has closed. Genuine hardship cases will be considered individually.
  • One-on-one consultation calls already taken (an Elite-tier benefit) are not refundable once the call has been delivered.
  • Accounts terminated for breach of our Terms of Service — including fraud, abuse, or repeated violations — are not eligible for refund.
  • Third-party fees that we do not control (e.g. currency-conversion fees charged by your bank or card issuer) are not refundable by us. Refunds are returned in the same currency as the original charge.

How to request a refund

To request a refund, email info@jaral-consultants.co with the subject line “JARALWork refund request” and include:

  • The email address associated with your account
  • The approximate date and amount of the payment you want refunded
  • A brief reason (optional within the 14-day window, helpful outside it so we can consider the case fairly)

We aim to respond within one business day (Karachi business hours: Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm Pakistan Standard Time).

Refund timeline

Once a refund is approved, processing typically takes:

  • 1–2 business days for us to issue the refund on the payment processor side
  • 5–10 business days for the funds to appear back on your card or bank account, depending on your bank

If 10 business days have passed since we confirmed the refund and you do not see the funds, please reply to your original refund email and we will follow up with the processor on your behalf.

Currency & chargebacks

Refunds are returned in the same currency as the original payment (typically Pakistani Rupees, PKR). Currency-conversion losses caused by your bank or card issuer are outside our control.

Please contact us first before raising a chargeback with your bank — chargebacks are slow, costly for both sides, and almost always unnecessary. We resolve genuine refund requests within one business day. Chargebacks raised without first emailing us may result in your account being closed pending resolution with the bank.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and via a notice on the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Refund requests for purchases made before the change will be considered under the policy in force at the time of purchase.
